Join us in celebrating the Winter Solstice on December 20th at Nectar Retreat Centre. The term "solstice" originates from the Latin words “sol”, meaning "sun," and “sistere”, meaning "to stand still." During this significant time, the sun's path appears to pause. Gathering in Nectar’s geodesic dome, each participant will be invited to reflect on their journey from the Summer Solstice to the arrival of Winter. Through gentle functional movement and an invigorating pranayama practice (yogic breathing), we will step into deeper relaxation with the meditative vibrations of a crystal bowl sound bath, concluding with shared written intentions and a communal bonfire.
