You’ll fall in love with Bowen Island the moment you step off the boat—which is the only way to get here. Nestled in Howe Sound, this small island has big heart. The tight-knit community of 3,800 or so year-round residents can’t wait to welcome you with open arms.
On Bowen Island, you can kayak the many sheltered bays, take a dip in the ocean at its sandy beaches or hit the open sea from the marina. Lace up your hiking boots for a slog up Mount Gardner or hop on your mountain bike if you’re in the mood for a little adrenaline. Chat with the locals and discover locally made goods and artwork throughout the island.
Nectar sits on 20 acres of untouched land on this island playground. You’ll see that it is our life’s work to be stewards of this land, to care for its forests and waterways. The land we occupy—which sits on the Unceded Coast Salish territory of the Squamish Nation—has been left largely untouched.
