Samhain 2024 at Nectar Retreat with Tina Pashumati Jame

  • Nectar Yoga 720 Gardner Lane Bowen Island, BC, V0N 1G2 Canada (map)

When: Oct 30-Nov 1  2024

Where: Nectar Yoga, Bowen Island

About:

Join Tina Pashumati James for a 2-day immersion as we approach the darker cycle of the year, it’s an important time to rest, reflect, and nurture yourself. The darkening months can sometimes take a toll mentally, physically, and spiritually.

Traditionally Samhain ( Halloween) marked the end of the Celtic year as it was the end of the harvest season, this was a time to replant the seeds and prepare for the new year ahead.

We are called to turn inward and reflect on our connection to spirit.

You’ll rediscover your true nature, awaken your inner heroine, and step into your power as a vibrant wise holy being. Imagine — the magic of connecting in harmony with other beautiful people who share your interests and values while expanding into your most authentic, unbridled self!

A journey of self-discovery and reclaiming your radiance awaits!

This retreat will take place at Nectar Yoga, a beautiful sanctuary 20 mins off the coast of Vancouver on the ancestral and unceded territory of Nexwlélexwm (Bowen Island, BC). To read more about Nectar Yoga, click here.

    ABOUT TINA

Renowned for her yoga teaching as well as environmental stewardship.

A former mountaineer, marathoner, competitive equestrian rider, yoga studio owner and so much more, she is a true Bhakti practitioner.

Tina lives, eats and breathes the essence of what yoga is particularly through her environmental stewardship. She is a voice for the voiceless and speaks up about why a plant-based diet is so important within these yoga practices.

“Environmentalism and animal activism are why "I became a yoga teacher," to honour the earth with my First Nations elders with respect for nature and the sacred ceremonies, and to use it as a platform to share and educate.”

Tina is an authorized Senior Ashtanga yoga teacher by Manju Jois at the European Academy of Ashtanga yoga with 30 years of experience, as well as an advanced Jivamukti teacher with 15 years of experience.

She teaches a life program every year in India at the eco-village Govardhan, 800-hour mentorships, private retreats, sweat lodge and vision quests with her Elders.
